Differential Reinforcement
Service Description
This session provides strategies for promoting skill acquisition by using differential reinforcement (DR). DR focuses on reinforcing alternative (DRA), other (DRO), incompatible (DRI), high-rate (DRH), and low-rate (DRL) behaviors other than the maladaptive behavior. Participants will receive a deeper understanding of the concept of DR, gain competence in the strategy for each DR technique, and identify when each one is appropriate to implement.
Please be advised that cancellations made up to 24 hours before a scheduled appointment via phone or email will be processed without a penalty. Cancellations made 24 hours or less before an appointment will be subject to a charge of $30. This includes appointments where the client is a no-show. If Potterhouse cancels an appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, a new appointment will be scheduled without penalty to the client, subject to availability.
